April 12 - Moses Zinsou named Honorable Mention All-County by the Montgomery Journal.  Congratulations Moses. 

Feb. 28 - Moses Zinsou won 4th place in the 171 class, advancing to the State Championship meet.  Regional results and State matchups here

Feb. 13-14 - Congratulations to Peter Checco for winning the county JV championship at his weight class.  Thomas Mena took third while Jon Abrahamson, Andrew Reed and Justin May finished fourth. 

Feb. 7 - Springbrook's varsity grapplers lost a close meet against Paint Branch, 44 - 28.  Individual winners for the Devils were Nick Christadoulou (112), Ben Marconi (119), Sergey Golosinski (130), Brandon Outlaw (135), Teddy Williams (140), and Peter Checco (145).  Meet summary here.

Jan. 16-17 - Springbrook finished 5th among 16 teams in this year's Grapple at the Brook tournament.  Devils grapplers who enjoyed particular success at the tournament were: Joe Klass (145) and Moses Zinsou (171), who both reached the championship round; Teddy Williams (140), Edward Encarnacion (152), and Ray Nwanety (215), who made consolation rounds.  Click here for results and coverage in the Journal and Gazette.

Jan. 10 - In last Saturday's tri-meet, the Blue Deevils dismantled Kennedy 78 - 0, but lost in a close match-up with undefeated Sherwood, 41 - 23. Click here for Gazette report.
