Blue Devils crush Blake
Feb. 10 - The Blue Devils led by 26-19 at half-time and cruised to a 64-41 victory over consortium rival Blake.  Sheridan Price led the Springbrook scoring with 15 points, followed by David Brewster with 14 and Carl Gardner with 14.  Eugene Moseley added 7points, Marcus Cotton 6, Daryl Kornegay 4, Brainerd Erhiawarien 2, Edward Sin 2. 

Devils lose to Sherwood
Feb. 8 - Sherwood avenged an earlier loss this season to Springbrook by defeating the Blue Devils 65-58.  David Brewster scored a team-high 23 points in the loss.  Sheridan Price scored 22, Carl Gardner 8, Andrew Dickson 3, and Eugene Moseley 2. 

Springbrook beats Walter Johnson

2005-06 season preview
First-year coach Tom Crowell is coming into a Springbrook High boys basketball program that fell to a 12-12 record only one year after reaching the Class 4A state final. This year's team boasts a strong returning group, including two of the top players in Montgomery County - seniors David Brewster, who has already committed to the University of Richmond, and Sheridan Price, another Division I college prospect.  Brewster, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, averaged 19.6 points and four rebounds a game last year, while Price, a 6-6 forward, averaged 13 points and four rebounds.  Add to them a handful of other seniors over 6-foot, such as wing Andrew Dickson, 6-4 center Brainerd Erhiawaren and 6-3 center Darryl Kornegay, and Springbrook has enough talent, theoretically, to make some waves in the 4A.  Gazette
